Finnaly Apple iPhone 7 has launched at Apple event in San Francisco.The latest model comes with plenty of differences we collected all information regarding the device.
Key Differences
The major difference between iPhone 6s andiPhone 7 is that the latest device holds new pressure sensitive Home Button. Similar to MacBook Force Touch Trackpad, the iPhone 7’s new Home Button uses haptic feedback.
Another difference is the latest iPhone 7 holds IP67 certification; it can last up to 30 minutes under a meter of water. In terms of specifications most of the rumors come true and the device comes in 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB internal storage. The company has added two new colors in its iPhone 7 such as Glossy Piano, and Matte Black, both colors looks decent in hands.
Now users can plug headphones via lightning port only, you can opt for a pair of Bluetooth headphones, too. The retail box contains new EarPods with 3.5mm to the Lightning port adapter, and lightening cable.
Design & Dsiplay
In terms of design, the iPhone 7 resembles to its previous model iPhone 6s. The antenna bands comes with different direction, they are on the bottom and top of the device. The latest flagship features 4.7 inch Retina Display, it is 25% brighter and supports wider color gamut.
The 3D Touch feature also comes with upgrades, but details are not known yet. The iPhone 7 is 5 grams lighter than iPhone 6s but both devices has same dimensions; it weights 138 grams and 138.3mm x 67.1mm x 7.1mm.
Processor & Battery
The iPhone 7 is powered by A10 chip, packs a quad-core CPU with 3.3 billion transistors - two high performance cores and two power saving ones. It is 40% faster than the A9 chip. The battery of iPhone 7 is also improved and the company claims that iPhone 7 battery will last two hours more than iPhone 6s battery.
Camera
The latest flagship iPhone 7 has upgraded camera, its sensor comes with optical image stabilization and f/1.8 six element lenses. The new sensor is 30% more efficient and 60% faster than the previous camera sensor. The optics contains four LEDs for better performance. The front camera is improved from 5MP to 7MP and it can record 1080p videos.
Audio
The flagship comes with improved audio as compared to its predecessor. It sports stereo speakers which boost 2x volume of the 2015 flagship.
Prices and Availability
The iPhone 7 32GB model is available for $649, the 128GB variant costs $749 and the 256GB comes with a $849 price tag in the US. The pre-orders of the device have started and it will hit stores shelve on 16 September.
